Prep Time: 10 min ⏱️
Cook Time: 20 min 🔥
Servings: 10 to 15 crêpes
🧺 Ingredients
- 3 eggs 🥚
- 250g flour 🌾
- 500 ml milk 🥛
- 50g salted butter (melted) 🧈
- 50g sugar 🍬
- 1 pinch of salt 🧂
- 1-2 tablespoon of vanilla extract or 1 tablespoon of dark rum 🍦🥃
- A bit more butter for the pan 🍳
👩🍳 Method
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and salt together.
- Make a well in the center and crack in the eggs. Whisk gradually.
- Slowly pour in the milk while whisking — this helps avoid lumps!
- Add the melted butter and your flavouring of choice (vanilla or rum).
- Let the batter rest for about 30 minutes (optional, but makes softer crêpes).
- Heat a lightly buttered pan over medium heat. Once hot, pour in a ladle of batter and swirl it around to coat the pan thinly.
- Cook for about 1–2 minutes per side until golden. Flip and repeat!
